Job Description
The Technical Configuration Analyst will play a critical role in configuring maintaining and enhancing our software solutions to meet the unique needs of our clients. You will work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical configurations leveraging your SQL and database expertise to deliver accurate and efficient results. This position requires a proactive analytical individual with a strong understanding of IT systems and a passion for problem-solving.
Your contribution
  • Collaborating with clients and internal teams to gather and analyze configuration requirements.
  • Configuring and customizing software solutions to align with client specifications and business processes.
  • Utilizing SQL and database management skills to query analyze and manipulate data for system configurations and testing.
  • Conducting system testing to ensure configurations meet requirements and maintain high quality standards.
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting for configuration-related issues ensuring timely resolution.
  • Documenting configuration changes workflows and processes to maintain an up-to-date knowledge base.
  • Assisting in the migration of customer data during system onboarding or upgrades.
  • Staying informed of industry trends particularly in the UK lending market to offer insights and improvements to the system configuration process.

  • Strong IT literacy with experience in configuring software systems.
  • Proficient in SQL for querying data analysis and database management.
  • Familiarity with relational databases (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server MySQL).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks prioritize effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in the UK lending market or financial services sector.
  • Knowledge of financial systems and workflows particularly loan origination or loan management
  • platforms.
  • Familiarity with integration processes using APIs.
  • Strong customer orientation.
  • Articulate communicator - the ability to present ideas clearly and precisely especially technical detail to peers & colleagues.
  • Good listener - listens and is aware of other peoples point of view.
  • Self-reliant ability of individual to work without close supervision and address problems in a collaborative environment.
  • Good problem-solving abilities - the ability to identify and contribute to opportunities / solutions for the company in a collaborative environment.
  • Balance competing needs and interests - the ability to assess the needs and interests of multiple stakeholders and determine an optimal course of action.
  • Persuade - the ability to win the hearts and minds of others through the authentic presentation of data.
