Job Description
Monday Tuesday and Thursday 8am-4:30pm with 1/2 hour lunch break
The Lab Technician I will be the laboratory support for the assay development R&D Labs. Their responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
The glassware washing and laboratory support is an essential function for the Tarrytown Site. It will be filled by a part time contractor for 3 days a week 8 hours a day.
Glassware washing
o Collecting dirty glassware from the labs
o Operating and maintaining the glassware washers
o Stocking the labs with cleaned glassware
o Keeping the glassware washing room neat and tidy
Lab Support
o Log books for Water systems
o Satellite waste checking
o Replacement of waste bins in labs
o Clean up lab benches and shelving. Lab Cleanliness.
o Lab walkthroughs to escalate issues as needed
Supplier Point of Contact
o Work with Cintas to ensure all labs are properly stocked with lab coats keeping inventory and cost to a minimum
