Make a difference as a Day Habilitation Manager
The Full-Time Day Habilitation Manager at The Arc of Chemung-Schuyler will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Day Hab Program in Watkins Glen and Elmira. This leadership role includes providing coordination general supervision and training to assigned team members ensuring that all staff are equipped to deliver high-quality support. You will be accountable for the overall operation of the program including purchasing necessary supplies and managing all program-related reporting. Your expertise in this role will be vital for maintaining excellence and integrity as you implement strategies that foster an engaging and supportive environment for individuals with developmental disabilities.
What were looking for in a Day Habilitation Manager
To be successful as a Full-Time Day Habilitation Manager at The Arc of Chemung-Schuyler candidates must possess a High School diploma or G.E.D. along with at least two years of human service experience preferably with individuals who have developmental disabilities. A valid drivers license is required for this position facilitating transportation as needed. Proficiency in software tools such as Windows Word Excel Access as well as email and internet navigation is preferred to enhance daily operations and reporting tasks.
Strong interpersonal skills problem-solving abilities and an empathetic approach are essential for fostering a positive team environment and ensuring the well-being of participants. Your capability to coordinate effectively and train team members will play a crucial role in the programs success.
