What are we looking for
SentinelOne is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Verification and Validation (V&V) Engineer or Software Development Engineer in Test to join our team. In this role you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge security products particularly those deployed within FedRAMP-compliant environments. You will leverage your expertise in quality assurance software development and automation to design develop and execute comprehensive test strategies.
What will you do
- Champion quality within the development process ensuring all software deployed meets internal quality and regulatory requirements including FedRAMP controls.
- Lead the development and implementation of advanced V&V test plans and strategies for complex software systems with a focus on AI-driven functionalities.
- Design develop and maintain robust automated test frameworks and scripts using Playwright.
- Integrate and manage test automation pipelines using Jenkins ensuring seamless execution and reporting.
- Troubleshoot and debug failures and document prioritize and track defects working with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports contributing to go/no-go decisions for software releases.
What skills and knowledge should you bring
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
- Several years of experience in Verification and Validation (V&V) or Software Development Engineering in Test (SDET) roles.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing test strategies for complex software systems with a strong emphasis on Quality assurance.
- Extensive experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines (e.g. Jenkins).
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and/or Docker for containerization and orchestration of test environments.
- Strong understanding of secure software development life cycle (SSDLC) processes and best practices.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g. Jira Xray) and defect tracking systems.
