Job Description
This role is for a Certified OR Tech with orthopedic experience. The position requires floating between units and potentially to other facilities including on-call responsibilities one weekend per month. A block schedule is utilized.
- Assisting the surgical team during procedures.
- Sterilizing and preparing surgical instruments and equipment.
- Maintaining a sterile field.
- Floating to other units and potentially other facilities as needed.
- Participating in on-call rotations one weekend per month.
- Orthopedic experience.
- Current BLS certification.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to float between units and potentially to other facilities.
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations.
- Advanced surgical technology skills.
- Weekend work required.
- Floating to other units and facilities is required.
- Block scheduling is utilized.
- Orthopedic experience is mandatory.
- On-call one weekend per month.
- Weekend work required.
