Job Summary:
This Registered Nurse (RN) position in a busy Emergency Room (ER) requires at least two years of experience and proficiency in handling high-acuity patients. The RN will provide skilled nursing care administer medications participate in treatment planning and collaborate effectively within the interdisciplinary team. The role demands strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment. Every other weekend is required.

Responsibilities:
- Providing skilled nursing care to patients with varying acuity levels including stroke STEMI trauma critically ill and behavioral health needs.
- Performing patient assessments medication administration and treatment planning.
- Collaborating with physicians other nurses and support staff.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EPIC).
- Managing a high patient volume in a fast-paced environment.
- Participating in emergency situations as needed.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
- Minimum of two years of hospital experience (ER experience preferred).
- BLS ACLS PALS and TNCC certifications.
- Clinical assessment medication administration and treatment planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Bachelors degree in Nursing.
Special Considerations:
- High-acuity ER setting with a daily census of approximately 220 visits.
- Every other weekend required.
- Facility encourages extensions for travel nurses.
- No call required.
- RTO restrictions apply (must be included during application).
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week.
- No reddish-orange scrubs permitted.
- Facility-paid parking.
