Job Summary:
This role is for a Polysomnographer responsible for conducting sleep studies on both pediatric and adult patients. The position requires proficiency in using specific equipment and software adherence to established charting protocols and collaboration with a healthcare team. Experience with various sleep disorders and patient populations is essential.
Location: Santa Rosa California United States
Responsibilities:
- Conducting polysomnographic studies on adult and pediatric patients.
- Setting up and maintaining polysomnography equipment (Alice 6 G3 software ResMed CPAP Units).
- Performing patient assessments and monitoring vital signs.
- Scoring sleep studies and documenting findings in EPIC.
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Floating between units as needed.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- RPSGT or RRT with SDS certification.
- Current California Registered Polysomnographer license.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum of one year of experience (first-timers accepted).
- Proficiency in EPIC charting.
- Experience with both adult and pediatric patients (1:2 adult ratio 1:1 pediatric ratio).

Special Considerations:
- Weekend work is required every other weekend.
- The facility allows for one call-off per two-week pay period.
- Floating between units is required.
- Block scheduling is at the managers discretion.
- RTO (return to office) must be included in the submission.
- Pending licenses are not accepted.
Scheduling:
- Schedule determined by manager discretion including potential for block scheduling.
- Weekend rotation is every other weekend.
