Solution IT Inc. is looking for a QA (Manual/Performance) Lead / Manager for one of its clients in Chicago IL / Hybrid
Job Title: QA (Manual/Performance) Lead / Manager
Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced QA Lead with a strong background in manual testing API testing and load & performance testing to join our team supporting the Molex project. The ideal candidate will bring strategic leadership to QA processes while also being hands-on when needed. Exposure to automation testing and ISTQB certification is a plus and will be considered an advantage for this role.
Required Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
- Proven 10 years of experience in Software Testing with a focus on Manual QA API Testingand Performance/Load Testing.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies tools and processes.
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman SoapUI or Swagger.
- Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter LoadRunner or similar.
- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools like ADO JIRA TestRail or ALM.
- Good to have: exposure to automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium TestNG Rest Assuredetc.).
- Excellent communication problem-solving and team management skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead QA initiatives end-to-end.
Work Site: Chicago IL / Hybrid
