Position: Business Systems Analyst (BSA) Wealth & Banking Domain
Location: Preferably in or near Buffalo NY / Columbus OH / Cleveland OH
Type: Contract/Full-Time adjust based on actual position
Start: ASAP
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with proven expertise in banking and wealth management domains including platforms such as Global Plus Charles River and Pershing.
You will play a key role in analyzing business processes gathering requirements supporting system integrations and ensuring high-quality solutions are delivered across wealth management and banking operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business teams (Wealth Managers Ops Portfolio Managers) to gather and analyze requirements
- Analyze systems like Global Plus Charles River Pershing for improvements and integration opportunities
- Draft functional specs use cases process flows and documentation for system development
- Act as a liaison between business and tech teams ensuring alignment and clear communication
- Lead system integration UAT and ensure solutions meet business needs and compliance standards
- Support user training and change adoption
- Assist project managers with planning reporting and timelines
Required Skills & Experience:
- 7 years as a BSA in Banking/Wealth Management environments
- Strong experience with Global Plus Charles River Pershing (mandatory)
- Expertise in business process mapping stakeholder communication and solution design
- Understanding of trade execution compliance portfolio management and client reporting
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (MiFID II Dodd-Frank Basel III)
- Proficient in QA UAT and test planning
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Power BI Tableau or other reporting tools
- Basic knowledge of SQL APIs and system integration principles
- Agile methodology exposure (user stories sprint planning)
- Change management experience in financial services
Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Business Finance CS or a related field
- Strong background in financial services or wealth platforms
- Excellent analytical documentation and communication skill
