JOB TITLE: Aerospace Composite Technician - DIRECT
LOCATION: Greenville SC
PAY RATE: Up to $25/hour

Summary:
Manufactures aerospace products using pre-preg lamination wet lamination and resin infusion techniques.
This hands-on role requires attention to detail precision and a commitment to quality.
Work both independently and as part of a collaborative team to meet production goals and report progress to a Composite Supervisor.
Perform lamination tasks using pre-preg and resin infusion methods
Prepare molds and tools using release films waxes and sealants
Cut cloth and lay up materials with tight tolerances
Vacuum bag composite parts for curing
Sand and trim fiberglass carbon fiber and Kevlar components
Inspect laminate surfaces for FOD defects or non-conformances
Follow Manufacturing and Inspection Procedures (MIPs) and Work Orders
Handle and dispose of composite materials and chemicals per OSHA standards
Complete all required documentation and inspection reports
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Support a zero-defect right-the-first-time manufacturing approach
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic understanding of tools and manufacturing processes
Ability to read and follow MIPs and technical drawings
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs
May be required to work overtime or weekends
Must wear PPE including goggles and steel-toe boots
Exposure to noise and chemical substances
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Skills:
Prior experience in manufacturing or composite fabrication
Industry certifications in composite materials or lamination techniques
Knowledge of basic math to measure weigh and mix resins
