THE STARTING ANNUAL SALARY FOR THIS POSITION IS $70000. THIS IS NON-NEGOTIABLE.
Job Summary
Develops implements and manages District Service Contract Support programs such as custodial contract service pest control carpentry services backflows fire extinguishers athletic support and solid waste/recycling management.
Essential Functions
1. Coordinates contract services with schools and other administrative offices.
2. Advises senior management on service contract support program issues or unusual events.
3. Supervises and trains assigned staff conducts performance appraisals makes employment and discipline recommendations and coordinates work assignments.
4. Reviews and analyzes information system records determines quality and timeliness of maintenance and contracted services and makes recommendations regarding improvements or changes to maintenance programs and budgets.
5. Prepares project budgets and schedules develops specifications and monitors contract compliance costs and expenses.
6. Prepares reports studies and contract documents required to purchase products and services.
7. Prepares monthly report of contract budgets trend analysis and compliance.
8. Reviews vendor invoices and upon approval submits for payment.
9. Develops implements and reviews Maintenance Department policies procedures and practices. Identifies opportunities for improvement and takes appropriate action.
10. Assists in the preparation of Maintenance Services annual budget.
11. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree in Business Construction Management Education or related field from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Five (5) years experience at a supervisor level responsible for planning programming and scheduling of maintenance functions to include administration personnel requirements and budgeting.
