Position Overview:
A well-established CPA and advisory firm in Annapolis MD is hiring a Senior Accountant to support their Client Accounting & Advisory Services (CAAS) practice. This role will lead full-cycle accounting for multiple clients support strategic advisory initiatives and mentor junior staff. Its ideal for someone who enjoys both hands-on accounting work and client-facing collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review monthly quarterly and annual GAAP financials
- Oversee full-cycle accounting: GL reconciliations journal entries and closing
- Act as primary contact for assigned clients supporting budgets cash flow and advisory needs
- Supervise and review work of junior accountants
- Lead client onboarding and software integration (QuickBooks Online etc.)
- Collaborate cross-functionally with tax payroll and consulting teams
Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or advanced certifications a plus
- 5 years of experience in accounting public accounting preferred
- Proficiency with CCH Engagement Thomson Reuters and QuickBooks Online
- Strong Excel skills and comfort with cloud-based accounting tools
- Excellent communication organizational and problem-solving skills
- Able to manage multiple client priorities and deadlines in a team-oriented setting
