Job Description
A doctorate in Psychology. Evidence of scholarly productivity. Three (3) years as an assistant professor or similar position teaching in-person courses at the college level as the instructor of record. Demonstrated commitment to department unit and university service and administrative experience. Previous administrative experience which can include chairing a department program coordination or other department college or university leadership roles.
Preferred Qualifications
One (1) year of recent experience as a department chair or similar position. Mentoring and supervising undergraduate students and undergraduate research assistants. Record of scholarship and teaching that demonstrates prospects of independence and persistence. Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures. Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice equity and inclusion in a university setting. Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work.
