As a systems engineer for Space Force MUOS youll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for defining developing and sustaining enhancements to a live communication system. We provide warfighters with a familiar cellular phone-like service allowing forces on the ground to communicate directly with others at higher levels of quality and much greater capacity than available through the current system.
The ideal candidate is a systems engineer with a strong software background and has experience on large solution programs which includes both Hardware and Software. We highly recommend you apply if you have any of the following job experience: Have worked as a Systems Engineer on a complex software system. Or is someone who understands DOD domain/programs well has a demonstrated capability to think at a Systems Level and has a growth mindset.

Target salary range: USD $115674.00/Yr. - USD $128325.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications
Requires a Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering or a related Science Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5 years of job-related experience or a Masters degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense SECRET security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a SECRET clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities U.S. citizenship is required.
