What You Will Achieve
Facilitate Pfizer US Hospital Leadership Team strategy sessions designed to identify and align on critical business goals and action plans.
Commercial Business Technology Analytics Lead Lead complex projects to leverage artificial intelligence machine learning web bots databases etc. and gain a deeper understanding of the Hospital market identify trends and opportunities forecast future outcomes to support data-driven business decisions that improve efficiency and drive strategic growth.
Design and deploy intuitive dashboards that provide a real-time view of key metrics giving US Hospital the ability to monitor business performance at-a-glance and make informed decisions quickly.
Represent the commercial business needs to ideate and deliver robust sophisticated reporting capabilities that transform raw data into meaningful reports tailored to meet the unique needs of the US Hospital organization.
Create a competitive advantage for Pfizer by broadly implementing predictive analytics to anticipate future trends make proactive decisions and forecast potential outcomes and opportunities.
Lead the conversation with cross-functional Pfizer teams and third parties to establish Pfizer US Hospital as a strategic partner to address business critical industry trends and challenges.
Develop complete and sound business cases for possible technology related business decision support projects detailing the benefits drawbacks resources and needed budget in a way that leads to an informed decision from leadership.
Manage a $2M annual technology budget ensuring all managed projects come in at or below budget and that funding is available to support regular maintenance of current technology assets.
How You Will Achieve It
Business Intelligence:
Lead business intelligence initiatives utilizing state of the art technology to generate actionable insights from performance data ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
Work closely with the Commercial Innovation and Excellence Director to clearly articulate the commercial business needs and output so they can effectively operationalize in digital development tactics/tasks.
Oversee and manage the development and dissemination of insightful real-time reporting and business intelligence solutions.
Ideate design deploy and improve predictive models and cognitive analytics tools to forecast trends and enhance decision-making.
Innovate and deploy digital tools that enhance connectivity and efficiency for Portfolio PGS and Analytic teams.
Lead initiatives to design and deploy interactive data visualizations that communicate complex data in an understandable and actionable manner.
Leadership:
Work closely with leaders across US Hospital and other operational areas to ensure seamless integration and alignment of solutions.
Manage and streamline the suite of data-driven applications within this scope to create a robust versatile portfolio of cross-functional business decision support solutions.
Serve as commercial project lead alongside a team of analysts and data scientists fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with senior leaders to align operational analytics initiatives with overall business strategies.
Engage with key stakeholders across US Hospital to ensure their data needs are met and their insights are integrated into broader operational strategies.
Identify opportunities for tool consolidation and the creation of new innovative solutions that deliver a competitive edge.
Commercial Strategy
Act as strategic partner toUScommercial leadership teams to frame investigate and answer key business questions related to the identification and evaluation of commercial strategies and tactics
Develop and lead regular application journey-based business reviews tied to budgetary goals to ensure cross-functional teams are aware of ongoing performance opportunities and suggest ideas for optimization.
Connect innovative strategies and analytics together to tell a compelling and persuasive story and deliver clear and actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
Lead identification of information needs and development of new artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities
Promotional Strategy and Execution Insights
Develop and monitor key performance metrics to evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of tools technologies and practices
Ensure accurate effective performance measurement and deliver regular assessments of portfolio performance to leadership including clear articulation of the data and its meaning for the business.
Recommend tool technology and process improvement and correctiveactions.
Evaluate digital assets to ensure optimal colleague experience steeped in deep business and customer insights.
Integrate business insights to broader analytic activities to paint the full picture of strategy execution and customer behavior to inform resource allocation decisions.
Play a key role in advancing the vision for the future direction of innovative activities.
Collaboration with Other Commercial Teams
Collaborate with cross-functional Pfizer teams and third parties to establish Pfizer hospital as a strategic partner to reduce drug shortages in the sterile injectable marketincluding Specialty Care US Policy & Public Affairs Pfizer R&D/CMC PGS Digital USMA and USP (external).
Lead dialogue to integrate insights across various cross-functional teams data science analytics portfolio PGS finance USMA US Policy & Public Affairs Pfizer R&D/CMC etc.
Actively contribute to advancement of team capabilities through thought leadership; seek to share knowledge and expertise with other colleagues making use of knowledge sharing platform.
Alignment with other commercial teams to ensure cohesive activities with our stakeholders.
Qualifications
Must-Have
Bachelors degree required with 8 years of broad experience in the generic pharmaceutical industry with strong history of achievement and performance; 5 years of operations experience
Deep understanding andexpertisein the US Hospital market
Demonstrated development and implementation of large continuous improvement initiatives leading toimprovedoperational and financial results
Intellectual rigor and flexibility/tenacity to identify and manage strategic trade-offs
Strong leadership skills; experience influencing and leading highly effective teams in a complex fluid and multidisciplinary matrix environment without formal authority
Takes initiative and works proactively with a positive attitude; self-starter with ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team
Excellent verbal/written communication listening and presentation skills; ability to pull together information from multiple (sometimes disparate) sources and synthesize it in a manner that allows users to more clearly understand
Evidence of strong influence/negotiation prowess and relationship management capabilities; proven ability to build cross-functional relationships both laterally and hierarchically across the organization
Demonstrated ability to work on multiple critical and complex projects with a wide ranging group of constituents; proven track record of being able to prioritize and achieve successful outcomes; ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
