Pay: $24.77 per hour
Work schedule:Full time Monday Friday

Work with a purpose!Management & Training Corporation (MTC) proudly operates the Imperial Regional Detention Facility in Calexico CA. We provide a safe and secure working environment for our staffwhile helping detainees gain valuable skills necessary for success upon release.
Job responsibilities:Youll perform duties involving general maintenance and repairs on equipment and buildings assisting with technical trades such as plumbing electrical painting and carpentry in compliance with Management & Training Corporation (MTC) and customer directives.
Essential functions:
- Perform maintenance and repair of structures electrical systems heating plumbing ventilating air conditioning and drainage systems. Recommend contracted assistance when on-site repair is not possible.
- Repair or replace faulty or damaged light fixtures outlets and fuses as directed.
- Perform minor construction and repair of structural woodwork.
- Perform repair or replacement of plumbing fixtures washers seals etc.
- Perform routine schedules checks of air conditioning systems.
- Requires long periods of walking and standing; climbing stairs and ladders as required for facility maintenance; and pushing and pulling of maintenance tool cart is required.
Education and experience requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical training and general knowledge of repair and maintenance and three (3) years of maintenance or related experience required.
- US Citizenship required.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Valid drivers license in the state of California with an acceptable driving record required unless waived by management.
