Job Description
Location: Jasper IN
Salary: $80000 - $105000 Benefits
A well-known and established Ag Retailer is looking for a Location Manager. The ideal candidate will have experience in Ag Retail and strong interpersonal skills. This position offers a unique opportunity for career growth as the company aims to groom the new hire to take over the General Manager role in approximately 5 years. Local candidates are preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Customer Relations:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Promote and sell agronomy products including seed fertilizer and agricultural chemicals.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction.
Operations Management:
- Oversee daily operations at the location ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
- Manage inventory including receiving storing and distributing agronomy products.
- Maintain accurate records of sales inventory and customer interactions.
Team Leadership:
- Supervise and support a team of employees providing guidance and training as needed.
- Foster a positive work environment and encourage team collaboration.
- Assist in hiring training and evaluating staff performance.
Strategic Planning:
- Work closely with upper management to develop and implement strategic plans for the location.
- Identify opportunities for business growth and improvement.
- Monitor market trends and adjust strategies to stay competitive.
Qualifications :
Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Ag Retail or related field.
- Proven track record in sales and customer service.
- Experience in managing operations and leading teams.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and team members.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Agronomy Agriculture Business or a related field preferred but not required.
- Relevant work experience can substitute for education.
