Job Title: Body-Mind Education Teacher
Reports to: Dean of Faculty
Status: Part-time Exempt (this position is .4 to .8 FTE)
Salary Range: Faculty are placed on a salary scale ranging from $82000 to $168000 determined by their years of teaching experience.
Salary will be prorated based on FTE.

Position Overview
Lick-Wilmerding High School seeks a dedicated movement SEL and health educator to join the Body-Mind Education Departments ninth-grade team beginning August 2025. This is a one year 40 - 80% interim position. The BME department is a collaborative supportive student-centered team that nurtures students capacity to be active in their own social emotional and physical wellbeing providing tools for developing self-awareness building positive relationships with self and others and learning to navigate the joys and challenges of their lives with perspective wisdom and skill.
As an institution committed to educating the whole child LWHS both invites and expects teaching faculty to participate fully in the academic and co-curricular life of the school. This includes but is not limited to furthering the mission of the school through participating in our Public Purpose and DEI Programs; as well as routine attendance in all curricular team meetings department meetings faculty meetings and office hours to support students when needed.
