Your day to day as a Helpdesk Level II Technician

The Helpdesk Level II Technician at Card-Monroe Corp. is integral to our mission of maintaining high operational efficiency through exceptional support. This role emphasizes a strong focus on Epicor ERP requiring the technician to possess a robust understanding of its functionalities to assist team members effectively. Beyond Epicor the position involves general troubleshooting of both software and hardware applications ensuring that any technical challenges are swiftly addressed. The technician will play a crucial part in enhancing productivity and fostering a collaborative atmosphere aligning with our core values of innovation and integrity while contributing to a high-performance culture at our Chattanooga location.

To thrive as a Helpdesk Level II Technician at Card-Monroe Corp. candidates should possess a diverse skill set that includes extensive experience with Epicor ERP support to address and resolve related issues efficiently. Proficiency in user management through Active Directory (AD) is essential for handling new user setups and terminations. A solid understanding of printer maintenance is required to troubleshoot and maintain office printers ensuring seamless operations.

Successful candidates will also provide technical support as the first line of defense for computer and printing issues while managing accurate inventory counts of deployed hardware. Skills in computer imaging for desktops and laptops along with collaborative problem-solving abilities for shared Level I and II support tasks are vital. Additionally knowledge of Office 365 management application installation and basic network troubleshooting for DHCP and DNS will greatly contribute to the teams overall success.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • Epicor ERP Support: Resolve Epicor-related support requests and issues.
  • Epicor Training: Assist in training team members on Epicor ERP functionalities.
  • User Management: Handle new user set-ups and terminations in Active Directory (AD).
  • Printer Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot office printers.
  • Technical Support: Serve as the first line of support for all computer and printing issues.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory counts of deployed hardware.
  • Computer Imaging: Perform imaging of desktops and laptops.
  • Shared Responsibilities: Collaborate on Level I and II support tasks.
  • Project Assistance: Assist Level III technicians with team projects.
  • Active Directory Maintenance: Manage and maintain Active Directory.
  • Office 365 Management: Handle Office 365 distribution lists.
  • Application Installation: Install standard applications.
  • Network Troubleshooting: Perform basic DHCP and DNS troubleshooting.
