Job Description

POSITION: Calibration Technician
FULLTIME/PARTTIME: 6-month Assignment (
Possible extension-
Possible temp to hire for right individual and if budget allows.)

LOCATION: Marlborough MA
SCHEDULE: 6AM-2:30PM
PAY RANGE: $24-$28/HR
(Exact compensation may vary based on skills experience and location. Base pay information is based on market location.)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
ests calibrates adjusts and maintains electromechanical mechanical pneumatic hydro mechanical and pressure-type measuring and indicating instruments. Sets up calibration sequences methods and procedures according to detailed specifications blueprints drawings and requirements. Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

Key Responsibilities
Identify and utilize appropriate measurement procedures.
Perform corrective actions to address identified measurement issues.
Adapt equipment standards and procedures to accomplish unique measurements.
Maintain calibration standards.
Ensures the calibration laboratory is maintained.
Interfaces with the customer to determine support requirements.
Complete all assigned tasks in accordance with all required procedures applicable regulatory requirements and quality requirements.
Generate Calibration Investigation Forms (CIF) to monitor the quality of calibration equipment.
Evaluate new calibration methods and procedures.

Quality Systems Duties and Responsibilities:
Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.

Explains detailed and/or comprehensive information typically within own or related teams/department

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels such as from office equipment.
  • The ability to lift up to 30lbs
  • Use of computers and technology
