Incontinence has a higher prevalence than diabetes and asthma yet there is a significant opportunity to increase awareness and adoption of advanced therapies that provide longer-term solutions for these individuals. We are hiring a passionate fast-paced and strategic Sr. Market Development Manager to lead the HCP Market Development Strategy for our Sacral Neuromodulation Portfolio. We are looking for an individual that is passionate about understanding the healthcare professional needs has ability to formulate strategies to increase adoption and penetration of advanced therapies and provides strategic support to reimbursement clinical and sales teams.

The Sr. Market Development Manager is an individual contributor role reporting to the HCP Market Development Group Manager. This role will lead strategic initiatives to enhance awareness and adoption of the Medtronic sacral neuromodulation therapies among healthcare professionals (HCPs). This role focuses on developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies collaborating with cross-functional teams and supporting related HCP marketing efforts to drive portfolio growth. This role requires a dynamic leader with strong analytical skills an ability to adapt to new information and effective communication skills to influence stakeholders and achieve program objectives.

This is not a people manager role. This role is an individual contributor.

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and lead targeted marketing programs to expand HCP adoption of sacral neuromodulation therapies. This includes shaping product advertising content calendar and convention strategies to effectively manage the product lifecycle.

  • HCP Engagement: Drive new and existing product awareness through the creation of impactful content and collateral engagement campaigns and promotional activities. Collaborate with global marketing professional affairs clinical education legal compliance regulatory and sales teams to ensure alignment and effectiveness.

  • Lead Execution of HCP Engagement Opportunities: Lead the strategy and execution for SNM engagements at conventions roundtables webinars podium presentations etc. Ensure alignment with leadership goals and collaborate with sales and therapy awareness teams to implement effective market development plans.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage the patient marketing team medical education team sales training to drive initiatives to accelerate portfolio growth.

  • HCP Digital Marketing: Develop and lead HCP content and digital marketing strategies including communication governance and direct-to-HCP campaigns leveraging digital platforms for effective adoption.

  • Market Expansion & Customer Insights: Conduct market analyses to identify opportunities and challenges and develop targeted strategies to overcome barriers and enhance therapy penetration. Build and execute the value proposition for the target customer audience designing the end-to-end customer experience for SNM customers. Establish deep expertise on the target customer segment and integrate this knowledge into the extended marketing team.

  • Performance Metrics: Establish and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of marketing initiatives analyzing and reporting impact to inform future strategies.

  • Travel - 30%

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree

  • 7 years of market development product management or similar experience or 5 years with an Advanced degree.

Nice to Have

  • Medical device experience

  • Ability to influence cross functional team members without direct reporting.

  • Strong planning project management and analytical skills.

  • Proven ability to build relationships with key customers physicians and key opinion leaders (KOLs).

  • Experience working with a broad sales force and interacting with hospital clinicians and executives.

  • Excellent presentation and storytelling skills.

  • Executive presence with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience in a fast-paced global organization with a global perspective and mindset.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$127200.00 - $190800.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience certification/education market conditions and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others)
