Metro is looking for an experienced and dedicated full time Accounting Manager to join our growing finance team!

Primary Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends variances and potential issues providing insights to management and perform comparative analysis to make recommendations
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in developing and monitoring budgets providing financial projections including acquisition analysis.
- Identify financial trends and perform comparative analysis to make recommendations
- Distribute clinic level financial and coordinate with clinical directors to provide financial analysis support
- Compensation Liaison planning
- Acquisition analysis and accounting including minority interest calculations and owner distributions. Coordination with USPH finance team in gathering and analyzing new opportunities
- Audit Support: Assist with external and internal audits by preparing schedules and providing documentation to auditors.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting standards (GAAP) and relevant regulations.
- Internal Controls: Review and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Maintain the Financial Accounting and Reporting Policies & Procedures Manual
- Continually update accounting policies and business processes to strengthen internal controls and deploy best practices
- Manage and comply with reporting requirements and tax filings for local state and federal government
- Assist in managing lease obligations and respective rent schedules
Team Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and publish monthly consolidated financial statements targeting a 10-day close cycle including income statements balance sheets and cash flow statements. Prepare and publish monthly location P&Ls
- Month-End Close: Participate in the month-end closing process including preparing adjusting entries and ensuring all transactions are properly recorded.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Manage the general ledger and chart of accounts by recording transactions reviewing journal entries and performing account reconciliations.
- Manage the weekly AP process ensuring expenses are captured according to budget and are approved prior to payment. Perform trend analysis to budget on monthly basis
- Manage fixed asset/intangible schedules at the clinic level to ensure proper amortization/depreciation
- Manage and evaluate debt obligations and compliance with respective covenants
- Ensure timely payment processing and provide analysis regarding past-due accounts
- Ensure timely bank reconciliation process
- BBA in Accounting
- Licensed Certified Public Accountant
- Public accounting experience
- At least 5-8 years of experience in accounting/corporate finance
- Able to work in a dynamic fluid fast-paced environment
