Improve Care & Treats pet food manufacturing processes.
Collaborate with Process Engineers Product Developers and Quality Teams to implement new products.
12 Month Full-time contract based onsite in Bathurst (NSW).

Join us in an exciting 12-month contract role at our Bathurst site where youll lead the R&D efforts behind our Care & Treats pet food innovation and renovation projects.

As a Product Development Technologist youll take full ownership of the development lifecyclefrom concept to launchbringing high-quality nutritious and innovative products to pets across the region.
What Youll Be Doing:
Lead product trials at pilot and full-scale manufacturing to bring new Care & Treats products to life.
Design and execute testing plans ensuring products meet performance quality and safety standards.
Champion pet nutrition by ensuring all products meet defined nutritional and regulatory requirements.
Develop and maintain product documentation including control specifications and technical details.
Be the product expert by providing technical insight into product design and formulation.
Deliver project reports post-launch clearly capturing outcomes and learnings within 3 months.
What are we looking for
Bachelors degree in engineering biological nutrition or food sciences.
2-3 years in a Manufacturing environment working in Quality Food Safety Engineering or Product/Process Development
Working knowledge of food processing or product development is highly preferred.
Understanding of food testing methods and interpretation of results.
Experience in the application of scientific methodology.
Strong communication skills.
