The Director of Sales at the Hilton Orlando Convention Center will lead the development and execution ofstrategic sales and marketing plans and initiatives to maximize profitability for the hotel in order to achieve budget revenue and market share targets.
Connected to the Orange County Convention Center this contemporary conference and resort hotel with waterpark features is 2.2 miles to SeaWorld and 5.9 miles to Walt Disney World.
All rooms offer classic decor with custom-designed beds minifridges flat-screen TVs and WiFi. Suites add kitchenettes and executive rooms provide access to the Executive Lounge.
Waterpark amenities include 2 pools a hot tub a waterslide and a lazy river. Theres also a spa fitness center sports courts and multiple dining options plus a business center and oversq ft of event space. A daily resort fee applies.
As the Director of Sales you will be responsible for overseeing commercial strategies for your hotel. Your goal is to improve the performance of the asset by connecting strategy and business processes.
Hiltons Commercial Services organization is comprised of team members driving our sales revenue marketing catering and events management call centers and analytics functions. These functions are the core of Hiltons commercial engine and are essential to Hiltons ability to drive profitable growth.
What will I be doing
The primary responsibilities of this position are to design develop and deploy business strategies that are creative dynamic and impactful for the Americas and lead the Hotel Sales and Marketing process. Key deliverables for this role are to move the business analytics processes including cadence of activities to a predictive and prescriptive approach to drive includes but is not limited to development and communication of commercial strategies and standards through a structured cadence and analysis of company revenue performance against established goals.
In this role you will facilitate the delivery of the Americas Commercial Operating Model and should possess strong leadership communication and networking skills.
