Rate:$16.10/HR

• Day Shift: Mon - Fri: 6AM - 2PM
• Grave Shift: Sun - Thurs: 10PM - 6AM

At Securitas on-site Security Officers are the foundation of our organization. Our Officers are trained to provide a high level of professionalism and specialization for their assignments help safeguard people property and information.

What Your Day May Look Like:

• Greet client employees vendors client customers and aid as needed.
• Conduct internal patrol and/or external mobile patrol when needed to check for unsafe conditions hazards security violations blocked ingress and egress mechanical problems unauthorized persons inspects grounds using appropriate equipment and protective gear.
• Monitor entrance/exits and provide guidance to site visitors and/or vendors.
• Complete daily activity (DAR) incident reports and logs via Securitas and client systems.
• Provide an atmosphere in which all customers client employees site visitors client and Management know their needs are being met.
• Present a good image to client public and Management.
• Operates in a calm manner and directs persons who cause disruption to leave property.
• Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents emergencies or security investigations; sets up barriers and signage and provides direction or information to others.
• Observes and reports incidents or suspicious activity to client Company Management or public safety authorities as appropriate for the circumstances and/or as required by the site.
• Acts to ensure that all property removal is conducted within appropriate policy requirements and in accord with client standards.
• Carries out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
• Report alarms in accordance with client requirements.
• Monitor cameras.

Position Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED Required.
• Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Ability to maintain excellent attendance.
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner and promote a positive work environment.
• Understands the nature of customer service and interactions with the public.
• Must have Day or Grave shift availability.
• Must be reliable accountable punctual and have a strong work ethic.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus.
• Must be able to interact with and greet site visitors customers client or client employees in a positive manner while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Intermediate computer/technology skills needed to ensure completion of daily activity reports / logs via handheld devices and ability to report alarms via telephone.
• Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills to assist vendors public client Site Supervisors and Office Management.
• Must be open to communication and feedback from client Site Supervisor and Office Management.
• Must be able to adhere to 15 minute and lunch breaks.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid and effective judgment and use appropriate escalation and force if required.
• Must be able to work in a team environment to ensure site/organizational goals are achieved daily.
• Must be able to remain organized and professional.
• Must be able to learn and adhere to security operations.
• Must provide high quality customer service in-person via radio and over the telephone.
• Must have ability to work multiple sites between Fountain Colorado Springs and Falcon to provide additional coverage when needed.
• Must have a personal vehicle Colorado Drivers License and a clean driving record due to required mobile patrol.
• Must be able to obtain Colorado Springs Guard Card license and maintain it every year.
• Must be able to attend in-person interview and in-person orientation if hired in Colorado Springs.
• Security military or law enforcement experience a plus!
