Be our nextSenior Design Coordinator
EXP is currently searching for a Senior Design Coordinator to work in our Toronto ON office.
What a day at EXP has in store for you
- Coordinate the activities of technical staff from project award through project completion
- Apply knowledge of engineering techniques across multiple technical functions
- Coordinate activities concerned with technical development scheduling and resolving engineering design issues
- Work with multi-disciplinary teams to address technical issues within project time and budget
- Facilitate communication between internal teams and external clients or partners
- Ensure design consistency and quality across all outputs adhering to corporate standards and contractual requirements
- Manage project schedules track progress and proactively resolve issues to keep projects on track
- Review and provide feedback on multi-disciplinary design work to ensure alignment with project goals and client expectations
- Maintain documentation including tracking timelines and status reports
- Support the development and implementation of design processes and best practices
What a day at EXP has in store for you
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Architectural Engineering or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in design coordination or project management role
- Strong understanding of design principles processes and tools
- Demonstrate experience in the delivery of major infrastructure projects; experience with P3 (Public-Private Partnerships) and Design-Build (DB) models is a strong asset
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interact well with others as well as develop and contribute to high quality technical and professional deliverables on projects and proposals
- Attention to detail highly organized self-starter
