Accounts Receivable Specialist
Whitehouse Station NJ 08889 In-office
55 - 65K (depending on experience)
Position Overview:
A fast-growing manufacturing company is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable (AR) Representative to join its finance team. This role is essential to ensuring timely customer payments maintaining accurate records and supporting healthy cash flow. The ideal candidate is organized proactive and comfortable handling routine processes training will be provided.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Highly organized and dependable
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks and data accuracy
- Proactive in following up on open receivables
- Willing to learn and grow within the company
- Communicates clearly and professionally with customers and internal departments
- Able to work full time on-site in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and send customer invoices accurately and on time
- Monitor accounts for incoming payments and follow up on past-due balances
- Post payments and reconcile customer accounts
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies with customers or internal teams
- Maintain accurate AR records and reports
- Collaborate with the finance and sales teams to ensure clear and consistent communication
