A Brief Overview

The position assists in managing the payroll-distribution function including implementing goals and objectives that directly impact the development and efficiencies of payroll-distribution. This position works closely with Information Technology (IT) to create system and web-based efficiencies solutions and applications. This role will be the site leader for the stand-alone office where the Payroll Distribution team resides. The leader will be responsible for the day-to-day functionality of the team by ensuring processes are followed and that payrolls are processed in a timely and accurate manner.

What you will do

Serve as a subject matter expert to address customer escalations and concerns

Modify priorities in-line with changing business demands

Support and coordinate Business Continuity Plan readiness in the event of severe weather conditions.

Drive operational improvements by monitoring enhancing and streamlining process flows with emphasis on automation efficiency.

Respond to and/or contact colleagues as directed or required to resolve questions issues or escalations.

Oversee daily operations of the distribution department.

Develop and maintain standards of operating procedures when needed.

Ensure regular maintenance of all hardware: printers postage machine and sealing machines.

Maintain positive relationships with third party vendors.

Manage cost associated with shipping.

Monitor weekly invoice statements from vendors for correct billing.

Facilitate the shipping of internal and external customer materials.

Maintain printing and shipping supplies along with the shipping database.

Communicate with department leadership to maintain workflow.

Provide department leadership with access reports upon request.

Coordinate with IT to test and maintain remote printing location capabilities.

Print end of day reports to ensure all print jobs have been run.

Develops team members through coaching mentorship and training opportunities.

Conduct weekly One-on-One with direct reports and follow up via email with discussion points performance reporting and improvement opportunities (if any exists).

Maintains close working relationships with MYHR Corp. Finance Commission Equity and all other relevant departments for internal colleague payroll-distribution transactions.

Maintains knowledge of rules and laws which govern the payroll administration practices.

Performs other duties as assigned

Education Qualifications

Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience advanced degree preferred

Experience Qualifications

Typically 5 years preferred

Skills and Abilities

Licenses and Certifications

Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)-APA CPP preferred

FPC preferred

The salary range for this role is $69200.00to$138500.00. The candidates final salary offer will be based on the candidates skills education work location and experience.

A candidates compensation may also include bonuses consistent with TriNets corporate bonus plan.
