Multi Site Security Officer Part Time

Location:Edwardsville IL
Rate:$17.00/HR

What Your Day May Look Like:
- Conflict resolution and De-escalation.
- Secure entrances / patrol inside and outside the clients premises.
- Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
- Identify and report safety issues or hazardous conditions.
- Clearly and quickly report any suspicious activity.
- Provide detailed written witness reports.

Position Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age to qualify for a PERC Security Officer License in the State of Illinois.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED or be willing to complete the GED program within six months.
- Must have average to above average computer skills.
- Customer service background preferred.
- Security experience a plus.
- Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
- Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift.
- Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift.
- Will require open/flexible availability (nights weekends & holidays included).
- Valid drivers license and a clean driving record needed (this position does require driver certification).
- Reliable transportation required (public transportation is not recommended for this position).
- Reliable form of communication needed.
- Must be comfortable with frequent standing / walking which may be for long periods of time and may involve climbing stairs / walking up inclines and/or being in various weather elements.
- Must be willing to participate in the Companys Security Officer pre-employment screening process including drug screen (mouth swab and/or urinalyses) and background investigation (drub screen includes THC).
- Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
- Must have the ability to speak read and write English.
