Job Description
A. Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced full-time NON-CDL Yard Jockey in Bowling Green OH. Our Yard Jockeys may be asked to maintain a flexible schedule including but not limited to day and night shifts weekends and or holiday work.
Start Time: 12:00-2:00PM Monday through Friday
Pay Rate: $23.75 per hour Base rate will increase to $28.55 after 12 months of employment
The responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:
- Must have Jockey(Hostler) experience
- Moving trailers around the terminal to various locations
- Maneuvering the truck into loading and or unloading positions
- Visually inspecting trailers and or trucks before and after moving each
- Connecting tractors to trailers
- Assisting with the unloading and loading of freight as needed
- Maintaining documentation of each trailer moved throughout the assigned shift
To be qualified for this position you must possess the following:
- Previous Jockey or Switcher experience required
- Ability to follow safety rules and regulations a must
- Must be able to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance
- Valid Drivers License
- Ability to communicate effectively; must be able to read write and speak English
- Must be able to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance
