In order to support our business we are looking for an UX Designer.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced User Experience Designer to join our team. As a designer you will be responsible for improving the layout user experience user interface and workflow of our web and desktop applications including software running on touchscreen-based color measurement devices.
You will work closely with our product owners and developers to create visually appealing and user-friendly designs that align with our companys brand and goals as well as help with information architecture design system and usability tests.
You will be part of an international team responsible for the design and creation of innovative industrial applications. You will report directly to the Software Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
You will:
- Collaborate with the development team and product owners to understand project requirements and create design solutions that meet those needs.
- Create mockups and prototypes for web desktop and touchscreen-based applications.
- Design user interface elements page layouts and workflows.
- Develop and maintain design guidelines to enhance and extend our internal design system.
- Analyze requirements and data structures to help build a consistent information architecture.
- Conduct usability tests and use findings to inform design decisions.
- Continuously improve the user experience by analyzing user feedback and implementing design changes accordingly.
- Identify recurring patterns and improve existing workflows.
- Stay up-to-date with design trends and technologies to ensure our applications are modern visually appealing and user-friendly.
Experience & Qualifications:
You have:
- Degree in computer science or engineering or information architecture or communication design or similar design-related field OR equivalent years of relevant work experience
- Proven experience as an UX/Interaction Designer or similar role
- Strong portfolio of previous design work
- Strong understanding of user interface design principles design best practices visual design information architecture animation systems design brand implementation
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in cross-functional teams
- Creativity to develop logical attractive user interfaces
- Experience with the design of enterprise and data-dense applications
- Proficiency with Figma and Figma libraries
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- A basic understanding of HTML CSS and JavaScript (Angular)
- Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks autonomously
- Fluent English language both oral and written is a must
Nice to have:
- Experience in UX research and user-centered design process.
- Experience with illustration and icon design.
- Experience with Accessibility rules and patterns for digital products
