What youll do
As aCasualPastryChef de Partie youll enjoy your work and take pride in delighting our guests:
- You will beresponsible for assisting inday-to-day production on the pastry section to ensure the smooth running ofyour section and to cook any food on a daily basis according to businessrequirements during the day.
- This will include ensuring daily preparations meetoutlined recipes including portion size quantity and quality; beingself-motivated and patient to train and develop other kitchen team members
- Sometimes our guests have special requestsinvolving dietary requirements off-menu requests and even special of these requests are fulfilled by our Pastry Chef De Partie.

Essential Skills and Experience
- Pastry Techniques: Knowledge ofpastry-making techniques such as dough preparation cake baking and chocolatework.
- Food Safety: Understanding of foodsafety regulations (HACCP) and maintaining a clean working environment.
- Recipe Adherence: Ability to followpastry recipes precisely and maintain consistency in taste and appearance.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure exactmeasurements accurate portioning and high standards of presentation.
- Time Management: Able to meet deadlinesfor baking and dessert preparation within service times.
- Basic Baking Equipment Use: Proficiencyin using pastry and baking equipment like ovens mixers and piping tools.
- Physical Endurance: Able to stand forlong hours and work in a fast-paced pastry kitchen.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely withother kitchen staff to complete orders on time.
- Adaptability: Ability to switch betweentasks quickly based on pastry kitchen needs during busy periods.
