BECOME A CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT!

Our Customer Service Agent plays an important role in providing exceptional service to passengers and visitors at the airport. This role involves welcoming passengers assisting with inquiries and offering support with check-in and boarding processes as well as provide safe and courteous wheelchair services to various airline passengers with disabilities while complying with the Air Carrier Access Act. The Customer Service Agents must ensure compliance with airline policies security regulations and safety procedures while also addressing passenger concerns and providing solutions. You will collaborate with various airport departments to facilitate a seamless passenger experience contribute to maintaining a positive airport environment and uphold high standards.

WHAT ITS LIKE TO WORK AS A CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT

  • Greet and assist passengers at the airport with check-in boarding and general inquiries
  • Assist in lifting passengers requiring assistance in and out of carts wheelchairs and/or aircraft passenger seats
  • Transport passengers in wheelchairs or electric carts to/from or within the concourses.
  • Safely assist or lifting persons with disabilities in/out of wheelchairs carts or aircraft seats.
  • Assist the customer in claiming checked luggage before assisting the passenger in a wheelchair to the curb.
  • Transport passengers in wheelchairs or electric carts through the terminal or gate for release or further processing for other flights as needed.
  • Responsible for escorting unaccompanied minors to/from flights and/or to meet the receiving adult and verifying identification and completing appropriate paperwork.
  • Provide accurate information on flight schedules gate assignments and airport services
  • Handle passenger check-in and baggage processing efficiently and courteously
  • Assist passengers with self-service kiosks and online check-in procedures
  • Effectively resolve customer issues and complaints in a professional and timely manner
  • Make announcements and keep passengers informed about flight changes and boarding times
  • Handle the boarding process including verifying travel documents and issuing boarding passes
  • Coordinate with ground staff and crew to ensure a smooth passenger experience
  • Process ticket sales upgrades and re-bookings as needed
  • Exceed customer service and safety standards set by PrimeFlight
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Eligible to work in Canada
  • Ability to read write speak and understand the English language to include documents
  • Ability to use electronic devices including IPads/Tablets Computers and Mobile Devices
  • Effectively communicate both in-person and through electronic means
  • Must be able to pass a background check and able to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC)
  • Ability to work any day/shift including holidays within a 24/7 operation

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY/WORKING CONDITIONS MAY INCLUDE:

  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
  • Prolonged standing and walking in an indoor/outdoor environment as applicable
  • Must be able to push pull
  • Must be able to reach with arms and grasp with hands
  • Continuously stand and walk for 6-8 hours
  • Must be able to bend stretch squat and kneel
  • Exposure to moderate and at times high noise levels
  • Be able to hear and respond to the spoken voice and to audible alarms
  • Tasks may involve repetitive motions of the arms wrists hands and/or fingers
  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include: Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); depth perception (three-dimensional vision ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)
