Responsibilities

The Charge Entry Clerk is responsible for data entry and review of office based charges from EHR.

Essential Functions
-Review electronically submitted charges in a timely manner to ensure accurate information is marked.
-Compare ancillary charge logs from clinical department against pending charge reports to ensure all charges are
captured.
-Notify management of any electronically submitted charge that does not fall within defined parameters for
correct charge capture.
-Participate in monthly close to ensure that all charges are captured processed and accounted for in a timely
manner.
-Prepare report of weekly electronic payments from Conifer and note any differences or modifications.
