ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Behavior Consultant (BCBA) within Pennsylvanias IBHS (Intensive Behavioral Health Services) framework youll play a critical role in developing and guiding behavior support plans for children and adolescents with emotional behavioral or developmental challenges. You will collaborate with families caregivers and treatment teams to deliver person-centered strengths-based interventions across home school and community settings. This position is ideal for BCBAs who value clinical autonomy interdisciplinary collaboration and making a meaningful impact through evidence-based practice.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and comprehensive clinical evaluations
- Develop individualized treatment plans rooted in ABA principles and aligned with IBHS guidelines
- Provide ongoing supervision and training to Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs)
- Collaborate closely with families educators and other professionals to ensure consistency and generalization of skills
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions based on data and team feedback
- Document all services in compliance with IBHS regulations and funder requirements
- Attend individual team and interdisciplinary meetings as required
- Maintain timely communication with caregivers and clinical supervisors
- Uphold high ethical and professional standards in all service delivery
QUALIFICATIONS
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing
- Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis Psychology Social Work Special Education or a related human services field
- Must meet IBHS qualifications for Behavior Consultant under PA state guidelines
- At least 1 year of post-masters experience working with children or adolescents with behavioral or developmental needs (ABA experience strongly preferred)
- Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and designing data-driven behavior plans
- Prior experience supervising or training Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) preferred
- Familiarity with the IBHS framework and documentation requirements
- Ability to work effectively across home school and community settings
- Excellent interpersonal collaboration and communication skills
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel between service locations
- Current clearances: PA Child Abuse FBI and Criminal Background Check
- Valid drivers license and proof of insurance
