Compensation Overview
The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors including the scope complexity and location of the role; the skills education training credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

$68600.00 - $113000.00
What Is the Opportunity
Corporate Audit provides objective independent risk-based internal control evaluations throughout the Company. The Analytics and Automation team develops automated solutions and analytic products in support of Corporate Audit deliverables and Enterprise Risk mitigation initiatives. As a Consultant you will grow your knowledge of the Corporate Audit methodology and leverage your technical toolset to assist in delivering a robust repeatable work product.
What Will You Do
Collaborate with internal audit teams and business partners to understand business processes and data sources to design and build effective automated testing procedures.
Employ an innovate mindset when developing data visualization products that are consumable by a wide audience of non-technical consumers.
Partner with internal audit teams to interpret results and engage in dialog with business partners about accuracy and impact of observations.
Assist with data acquisition and independently perform data prep and exploration.
Apply data derivations and business transformation rules.
Build test and implement simple analytic processes and automation solutions including pilots and proofs of concept.
Assist in operationalizing and automating data products while providing thorough documentation.
Assist in the delivery of analytics training to partners in the Audit department.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have
One year of work experience or multiple internships in either a data-centric consulting or auditing role.
General knowledge of the insurance industry a plus.
Basic proficiency with Python SAS SQL or comparable data interrogation tools.
Basic knowledge of data visualization principles and tools.
Working knowledge of cloud platforms.
Intermediate understanding of common data management and governance principles.
Working knowledge of risk assessment and auditing principles.
Project management skills with the ability to work in a dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
Communication collaboration and relationship building skills with the ability to present and translate complex information to non-technical teams in relevant business terms.
Awareness of technologies such as bots artificial intelligence machine learning advanced analytics and/or natural language processing.

Bachelors Degree.
