Join Axpo Iberia and help shape the future of energy with cutting-edge technology! We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to design develop and maintain scalable and cloud-native platform services while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
What you will do:
- Design develop and maintain backend platform services with a focus on scalability maintainability and cloud-native principles.
- Improve and refactor applications libraries and services supporting financial valuation and market data workflows.
- Collaborate with DevOps engineers to manage model execution pipelines on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Participate in architectural decisions service design and integration strategies for microservices.
- Contribute to user-facing components ensuring seamless backend integration.
- Ensure best practices in CI/CD automated testing documentation and secure development.
What you bring & who you are:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Mathematics or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python (especially FastAPI) and a modern object-oriented language (e.g. C# or R).
- Proficient in cloud-native architectures Kubernetes (ideally AKS) and Microsoft Azure.
- Expertise in REST APIs microservices distributed systems and databases (relational and/or NoSQL).
- Skilled in Terraform CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) and security best practices.
- Proactive team-focused and eager to learn new technologies.
