Job Description
Job Summary:
This temporary-to-hire position is for a Medical Assistant (MA-C) in a cardiology clinic. The MA-C will provide clinical support to the care team including performing lab draws and utilizing electronic health records (EHR). The role requires a minimum of six months of experience as an MA with cardiology experience preferred. Local candidates only within a 50-mile radius are considered.
Location: Seattle Washington United States
Responsibilities:
- Performing clinical tasks such as lab draws.
- Assisting with patient care under the supervision of a physician or other licensed healthcare professional.
- Utilizing electronic health records (EHR) such as EPIC.
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Current Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) license.
- At least six months of experience as a Medical Assistant.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems specifically EPIC.
- Reliable transportation (private vehicle).

Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience in a cardiology setting.
- Experience with other clinical tasks common to a medical assistant role.

Special Considerations:
- This is a temporary-to-hire position with a 13-week contract.
- The schedule is Monday-Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (5x8-hour days).
- No weekend work is required.
- On-call duties are not required.
- The facility may call off the employee for up to one shift per pay period.
- Candidates must be local (within 50 miles) and have reliable transportation; public transportation is not acceptable.
- All RTO (Request Time Off) must be presented at the time of submission. Specific RTO restrictions should be confirmed with the hiring manager.
- The schedule is Monday-Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (5x8-hour days).
