Job Description
Solution IT Inc. is looking for a QA Test Automation Engineer w/API for one of its clients in Remote / Chicago IL
Job Title: QA Test Automation Engineer w/API
Required Skills
- Strong experience in building API integrations and automated API testing.
- Proficiency with Selenium and TestNG for test automation.
- Experience with API test frameworks and tools such as Postman REST Assured or similar.
- Hands-on experience with test automation in CI/CD environments.
- Familiarity with performance testing of APIs.
- Good understanding of end-to-end testing methodologies.
- Strong programming/scripting skills (Java Python or similar).
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
Good to have :-
- Experience with Boomi or similar integration platforms.
- Exposure to UIPath Test Suite and its automation capabilities.
- Familiarity with AI-driven or Generative AI approaches to test automation.
- Knowledge of version control tools like Git and build tools like Maven or Gradle.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms and microservices architecture.
Qualification & skills :-
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work in cross-functional teams.
- Passion for quality automation and continuous learning.
Work Site: Remote / Chicago IL
Duration: 12 Months
Expected Start Date: Immediate - 2 weeks
