Job Description
Job Title: Software Developer SailPoint / IAM Integration Specialist
Location: Remote (Must reside in Texas)
Duration: 12 Months (with potential for extension)
Job Description:
A Texas-based government program is seeking a Software Developer 2 to support a large-scale application integration and identity management initiative. This role focuses on SailPoint IdentityIQ Okta and Azure integrations. The selected candidate will play a key role in the full software development lifecycle-from research and design to development testing and deployment.
Responsibilities:
- Research design implement and manage software programs and integrations.
- Work closely with architects project managers service delivery teams and other developers.
- Develop and test application integrations related to Identity & Access Management (IAM).
- Configure and customize SailPoint IIQ components: workflows rules connectors policies etc.
- Integrate systems using Okta for single sign-on (SSO) and Azure AD.
- Build and consume APIs to manage access policies and automate access request processes.
- Contribute to Agile ceremonies and follow Scrum-based delivery.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 6 years of experience in software development using Agile/Scrum methodology.
- 6 years working collaboratively with technical and project stakeholders on solution delivery.
- 4 years of hands-on experience in SailPoint IIQ development.
- 4 years of experience integrating Okta SSO and Azure.
- 4 years building APIs to manage access control and integrate external applications.
- Strong understanding of IAM best practices and secure development.
Preferred:
- 2 years of experience working with Texas-based state agencies or public sector projects.
Additional Information:
- Work hours: Monday Friday 8 AM 5 PM CT (occasional evenings/weekends may be required).
- Remote work is allowed; however candidates must reside in Texas.
- This is a long-term opportunity with potential for up to three 1-year extensions based on performance and project needs.
