About the Opportunity
Our confidential manufacturing client (precision metals / forging packaging & process operations) is looking for a Maintenance Lead to keep production assets humming on 1st shift. If you like jumping from PMs to emergency troubleshooting-and leading by example-this role is for you.
Schedule & Pay
-
Standard: Monday Friday 7:00 AM 4:00 PM.

Overtime: Required as needed; Saturdays possible during peak production.

Rate: $30 $35 per hour
What Youll Do
-
Plan assign and complete preventive & corrective maintenance work orders on time; document in CMMS (COGZ).

Troubleshoot and repair processing packaging forging utility plant compressors water treatment and facility systems to minimize downtime.

Ensure repairs/installations meet safety & regulatory requirements; enforce PPE GMP OSHA & LOTO compliance.

Prep job kits (tools/parts) for planned work; coordinate with other mechanics & outside contractors.

Conduct weekly plant walk throughs; identify deficiencies; escalate to Manufacturing/Operations leadership.

Support installations upgrades and temporary repairs with follow up for permanent fixes.
What Youll Bring

HS Diploma / GED required.
-
1 yr mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing (more strongly preferred); electrical exposure incl. 480/220/110 VAC a plus.

Hydraulic/pneumatic systems knowledge; basics of motors drives contactors multimeter usage.

Welding (MIG/TIG/Stick) helpful; powertrain components (gearboxes chains belts) familiarity.

Read & interpret schematics engineering drawings CAD prints maintenance manuals.

Strong organization follow through and ability to work with limited supervision.
