Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to lead the financial operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of proven experience in financial management and strategy including budgeting forecasting financial reporting and compliance. This role requires strong leadership analytical thinking and the ability to drive financial efficiency while ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development implementation and monitoring of financial strategies annual budgets and forecasts aligned with business goals.
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the finance and accounting functions including cash flow financial transactions and reconciliations.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements management reports and variance analysis for senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory financial regulations tax laws and internal control policies.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to support strategic business decisions operational planning and performance improvement.
- Liaise with auditors tax consultants regulatory bodies and banking partners to ensure seamless operations and reporting
- Oversee and optimize internal financial systems processes and controls to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Mentor and supervise finance team members fostering professional growth accountability and a high-performance culture.
- Support executive leadership with investment analysis cost control strategies and capital planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance Economics or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial management or a senior accounting role.
- Professional certification such as ICAN ACCA or CPA is required.
- Strong expertise in financial planning and analysis regulatory compliance and corporate reporting.
- Proficient in using accounting and financial software (e.g. QuickBooks Sage or ERP systems) and advanced Excel skills.
- In-depth understanding of tax regulations audit procedures and risk management practices.
- Excellent leadership organizational communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
Preferred Attributes:
- Prior experience in a leadership finance role within a mid to large-sized organization or across multiple business units.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and collaborate with C-level executives.
- Familiarity with IFRS financial modeling and automation of reporting processes.
