Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Software Tester to join our technology team. You will be responsible for testing educational platforms mobile applications and internal tools to ensure they are reliable user-friendly and bug-free.
- Review and analyze system requirements and business needs
- Create detailed comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Perform manual and automation testing on web and mobile applications
- Identify record and track bugs using tools like JIRA
- Conduct regression and performance testing
- Collaborate with developers designers and product managers to improve software quality
- Validate bug fixes and conduct post-deployment testing
- Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and documentation
Requirements
Required Technical Skills:
Hands-on experience with testing tools like Selenium Postman or similar
Strong knowledge of manual testing techniques
Familiarity with API testing and tools like SoapUI or Postman
Understanding of SQL queries for database validation
Basic programming or scripting knowledge in Java or Python
Knowledge of bug tracking and version control systems (JIRA Git)
Understanding of STLC SDLC and Agile methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science IT or related field
ISTQB certification or equivalent (preferred)
Prior experience testing EdTech or e-learning platforms is an added advantage
Any degree in a reputed college or institution. Excellent verbal communication skills in multiple languages. He/She is willing to work on a contract basis.(6 Month)
