The successful candidate will manage multidisciplinary teams oversee design and permitting for site development projects and mentor junior staff all while maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate strategic growth plans with office managers and practice leaders.
- Establish and expand market presence through marketing and business development.
- Manage the financial budget for the department and allocate resources effectively.
- Lead and contribute to the production of proposals.
- Serve as a technical resource to project managers and technical staff.
- Determine staffing needs for the section and conduct interviews and hiring.
- Perform performance reviews based on feedback from project managers.
- Provide leadership and continuous performance management to team members including setting expectations goals feedback and coaching.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in civil engineering or a related field from an accredited program.
- Professional Engineer License or equivalent.
- Over 10 years of experience in site civil engineering.
- Proven project management and business development experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
