As an integral member of the Brand and Communication department the Senior Manager of Brand Marketing will report to the VP of Brand & Communication and will be instrumental in shaping the brand marketing strategy for Orient Express. This role will ensure alignment with the brands core values and embody the unique allure of the ultraluxury hospitality experience. The Senior Manager will develop innovative marketing initiatives aimed at enhancing brand visibility reputation and engagement within the ultra-luxury market. The associate will work collaboratively with the VP Business Marketing team to ensure that brand awareness efforts effectively support revenue generation and foster a premium guest experience aligned with the Orient Express identity.
Main responsibilities are the following:
Strategic Development
- Develop and implement a comprehensive brand marketing strategy that aligns with Orient Express brand vision while enhancing the luxury guest experience.
- Identify market trends and consumer insights to inform strategic decision-making and capitalize on growth opportunities
Brand Identity
- Ensure consistency in brand messaging across all marketing channels and assets managing the brand identity in a manner that resonates with high-end clientele.
- Oversee the creation of engaging content and creative campaigns that elevate the brands luxury positioning
Brand Market Research and Insights
- Conduct thorough market research to understand competitive landscapes and identify areas for innovation or improvement in service offerings.
- Analyze customer feedback and behaviors to continuously refine marketing strategies and enhance guest experiences.
Brand Social Media and Innovation
- Drive the brands Social Media strategy encompassing base increase and engagement to enhance the brands presence and reach.
- Utilize technology and data analytics to measure Social Media effectiveness.
Budget Management
- Assist in developing and managing the marketing budget ensuring effective allocation of resources for maximum impact and return on investment.
Leadership and Management
- Lead and inspire a high-performing marketing team fostering a culture of creativity collaboration and excellence.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with departments such as sales operations and customer experience to ensure cohesive messaging and branding.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate closely with the Brand & Communication department to align on global marketing initiatives and corporate strategies ensuring that brand efforts support broader business objectives.
Qualifications :
- Masters degree in Marketing Business Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive marketing experience with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity within the luxury or hospitality sector.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies in an ultra-luxury environment.
- Strong understanding of brand management principles and luxury consumer behavior.
- Creative thinker with strategic vision and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Excellent analytical skills and experience with data-driven marketing initiatives.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English and French.
- Strong creative mindset with a passion for delivering best-in-class customer experiences.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook) and other relevant office software to facilitate the creation of high-standard presentations reports and documents
