Job Description
Stantec Consulting Services Inc. Civil Engineer (Multiple Positions) Indianapolis IN. Perform engineering design tasks including preparing engineering drawings engineering reports and technical specifications on projects under the supervision of task lead or manager. Perform hydraulic modeling analysis to support engineering design including 1D and 2D analysis of surface and subsurface hydraulics. Assist in the permit process and attend meetings with clients contractors and governing entities. Execute construction quantity take-off and support applications to regulatory and funding agencies. Assist project managers with developing and managing project scope including fee estimates budget tracking staffing and scheduling. Prepare engineering project proposals change orders client contract and communications. Serve as liaison between task manager and design team coordinating technical activities and designs across multiple disciplines. 40 hours per week M-F (9:00 a.m.5:00 p.m.). #LI-DNI #GTM

Qualifications
Requirements:
Must have a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering or a related field and 6 years of post-bachelors progressive related work experience; OR a Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering or a related field and 4 years of related work experience.
Of the required experience must have 4 years of experience with the following: 1D and 2D Hydraulic modeling including HEC-RAS PCSWMM and ICM; Developing and reviewing construction civil engineering drawings; Drafting preliminary engineering reports and technical specifications; and Coordinating technical and design activities for civil engineering infrastructure projects.
Must have an active U.S. Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Telecommuting permitted up to 3 days a week.
Travel to various locations throughout the US required up to 5%.
