Job Summary:
We are seeking a technical growth-driven Industrial Sales Manager with a strong background in machining tool & die or precision manufacturing. This individual will lead customer acquisition and territory growth for our laser welding and machining services on the East Coast. You will be the trusted expert for clients in need of repair modification and enhancement of critical partshelping them extend tool life and reduce downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and grow a defined East Coast sales territory with support from our HQ and technical team.
- Identify customer pain points and match them to Phoenixs repair weld and machining capabilities.
- Conduct on-site visits and develop deep relationships with tool rooms job shops OEMs and mold makers.
- Leverage your machining/technical background to advise quote and close repair projects.
- Manage a sales pipeline using CRM (Pipedrive or similar) and drive consistent prospecting via cold calls referrals social media and trade shows.
- Lead plant tours capability demos and quote presentations to showcase our value.
- Provide accurate solution-specific proposals tailored to technical applications.
- Help shape market strategy by relaying customer insights to leadership.
Required Qualifications:
- 3 years in technical sales or B2B sales in the machining tool & die or industrial repair space.
- Solid understanding of machining principles tooling or laser welding applications.
- Proven ability to build and close a sales pipeline in a technical consultative sales cycle.
- CRM proficiency; experience with Pipedrive a plus.
- Willingness to travel regionally to build relationships and close business.
Preferred Experience:
- Background in CNC machining mold making or precision component repair.
- Knowledge of welding processes cladding or additive repair is a strong plus.
- Prior success selling industrial services or manufacturing solutions.
