Kitchen Assistant/Cook Myoora Hostel
Location: Riverina Murray Region
The Opportunity
We are looking for a passionate Kitchen Assistant/Cook to join our caring team at Myoora Hostel in the beautiful Riverina Murray Region. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys preparing wholesome meals in a supportive environment with weekend availability essential.
What Youll Do
Prepare and cook fresh nutritious meals for our residents
Provide friendly and respectful table service
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and assist with clearing duties
Comply with Food Safety and HACCP regulations
Be part of a team committed to resident wellbeing and quality care
What Youll Bring
Proven experience in meal preparation and kitchen work
Knowledge of Food Safety Standards and HACCP compliance
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen; aged care experience desirable
Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends
