What are we looking for

The Laboratory Technician is responsible for materials testing processes handling and preparing samples and providing written analysis in a laboratory environment. The ideal candidate for the Laboratory Technician role will have a desire to work in learning environment strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently and/or in a team setting.

Shift/Schedule: Standard office hours Monday-Friday

What youll do:

• The Laboratory Technician will report to the Laboratory Manager and is responsible for supporting lab operations on a day-to-day basis
• Receipt samples Log in and sorting samples
• Crushing and splitting samples
• Completes pulverization sample preparation
• Performs test charges for testing
• Conducts bottle roll testing on samples
• Utilizes column testing techniques
• Documents results of testing and investigations in technical reports
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:

• Two years of applicable laboratory experience required
• High school Diploma or GED required
• Attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Technical writing
• Analytical thinking skills
