RN - Psychiatry Clinic

100% FTE 8-hour shifts between the hours of 7:30 am - 5:30 pm Monday - Friday. No weekends or holidays. You will primarily work at 6001 Research Park Blvd in Madison WI. Occasional cross coverage to other Behavioral Health Clinic locations in Madison and Middleton may be needed as operationally necessary.

We are seeking a passionate and team-oriented Registered Nurse (RN)to:

• Join our supportive team of physicians therapists nurses and medical assistants in providing state-of-the-art psychiatric care in a dynamic academic ambulatory setting.
• Perform telephone triage administer long acting injectables and support providers with patient intake assessments in the delivery of mental health care to the pediatric adolescent adult and geriatric patients.
• Provide direct care and monitoring to adult patients receiving intranasal esketamine in the clinic a medication administered to help treat treatment-resistant depression.

Qualifications

• Graduate of school of nursing Required
• Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred

Work Experience

• 6 months of RN experience Required
• Relevant RN experience Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact Upon Hire Required
• CPR/BLS Certification Upon Hire Required
• Applicable clinical certification Preferred
